Additionally, Simparica is used to treat and control various types of tick infestations, including Amblyomma americanum (lone star tick), Amblyomma maculatum (Gulf Coast tick), Dermacentor variabilis (American dog tick), Ixodes scapularis (black-legged tick), and Rhipicephalus sanguineus (brown dog tick), for a duration of one month.

This treatment is suitable for dogs that are at least 6 months old and weigh 2.8 pounds or more. Simparica provides effective protection against both fleas and ticks, making it a valuable option for maintaining your dog's health and comfort.
